How to access to my clipboard?

Asked by Alberto

Hi, I'm from Windows XP... My OS is Xubuntu 14-04-02 LTS, and I'm learning it.
I'm looking for the clipboard on my machine. I looked for some info around the web, in Ubuntu forum too, but I couldn't answer my question.
I don't have xclip, neither glipper or whatever, I suppose.
Thanks once again!
Alberto

The clipboard is simply stored in RAM, just as it is in Windows. Applications like the ones you have named, give a nice GUI to the clipboard function and expand upon it.
