how-to mount 64g memory stick of fat system....?

...Having problem w/ mounting MEMORY STICK 64g...(32 FAT SYSTEM ? ;)...

Here is ERROR MESSAGE DISPLAYED:

"Error mounting /dev/sdb1 at /media/vfwpi/9C33-6BBD: Command-line `mount -t "exfat" -o "uhelper=udisks2,nodev,nosuid,uid=1000,gid=1000,iocharset=utf8,namecase=0,errors=remount-ro,umask=0077" "/dev/sdb1" "/media/vfwpi/9C33-6BBD"' exited with non-zero exit status 32: mount: unknown filesystem type 'exfat'

...Please if there is a simple program I can use to open this "SD" media stick...it would be greatly appreciated....
if someone would share w/ me the "how-to" process i n accomplishing this task....

PS (There are mostly image files...about 85% & rest are small video files...)

Have you ran a chkdsk in Windows on the system? Just to make sure the data is consistent and complete.

You might to have to install the exfat tools first

sudo apt-get install exfat-fuse exfat-utils
