don't remeber brigthness adjustment

hi, in my ubuntu 14.03 when i adjust brightness level via system settings and via laptop buttons when i restart or shut down my laptop brightness come back to default level.

Sorry my english is bad i dont understand what to do. i have this problem and cant find solution.
