Video Output stopped working on ATV1 CU2 build

Asked by Forchi

After using ATV1 CU2 build, this month video output stopped working (TV now displays no source input found - TV is a Samsung UN65ES6500 65" Smart 3D LED HDTV 1080p). My ATV1 outputs to my Marantz Receiver via component video, and hdmi for audio. Marantz Receiver is wired to TV via component video. This setup has worked for 2 years...so I don't know what happened recently to cause this change. Please let me know if you have any ideas to try and fix this problem. Thanks in advance.

Hardy is EOL and not supported by the Ubuntu community in any way. It's dead. I suggest you wipe Hardy off the system and do a clean install of Trusty. Trusty is LTS and supported til April 2019. You can restore your user data from your backups.

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Forchi for more information if necessary.
