dnsmasq not available on the bus, can't update servers

Asked by Michael Heuberger

Hello there

In journalctl I see these entries:

Aug 20 19:22:21 M1 NetworkManager[755]: <warn> dnsmasq not available on the bus, can't update servers.
Aug 20 19:22:21 M1 NetworkManager[755]: <error> [1440055341.521642] [dns-manager/nm-dns-dnsmasq.c:398] update(): dnsmasq owner not found on bus: Could not get owner of name 'org.freedesktop.NetworkManager
Aug 20 19:22:21 M1 NetworkManager[755]: <warn> DNS: plugin dnsmasq update failed
Aug 20 19:22:21 M1 NetworkManager[755]: <info> Writing DNS information to /sbin/resolvconf

Any ideas what it means and how to fix this?

Thanks
Michael
