I have installed supertux2 and all I get is a black screen how canI fix this?

Asked by Danny Tenhoff

Help please, I have installed supertux2 on my avid desktop computer with Ubuntu 14.04.3 i386 on it. When I try to open the supertux2 game all I get is a black screen. I have tried to uninstall the game using synaptic package manager and reinstalling the game, all I get is the same thing happening. I have been reading in Ubuntu help and I can't find a way to fix it. Can I please help into why this is happening and maybe away to fix it. Thank you Danny

Did you enable the proprietary nvidia video driver?

There is the additional drivers application in the system settings panel. It will install the nvidia driver for you and should work ok.

This did not work to fix the problem with supertux2. I think that might have changed the screen resolution from 800x300 to something that my card will not handle. Do you know of a way that I can fix that. Thank you.

Use the same application to remove the driver
