install pixma mg5250 on *buntu 15.10

For installing canon mg5250 on *ubuntu 15.10 i need libtiff4 to install the printer driver from the canon website.

Any ideas how to solve it?

And/or request at Canon that they update their driver packages.

For earlier Ubuntu versions (like 12.10 or 13.04) a workaround was installing the latest available libtiff4 package from previous Ubuntu versions. You might try with libtiff4 3.9.5-2ubuntu1.8 for precise.

I give it a try with libtiff from a previous version.
