Is the system fully updated now? You can check with:

sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get upgrade; sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Reboot to test

Manfred is right.

The following thread mentions the same model and make of PC with the exact same wireless adapter:

https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-nettool/+question/269321

No support yet for your wireless adapter....

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask aishwarya vaibhav for more information if necessary.
