battery status does not change via power plug in or plug off

http://i.imgur.com/gQBpacT.jpg as seen on image battery is charging but status bar where battery icon is located does not change it's state. I am using Ubuntu 14.04.3 up to date.

I suggest you report a bug. If you run:

ubuntu-bug acpi

You can start the process. Be sure you have the latest BIOS.
