post upgrade issues

Hello!

After i made disto upgrade on my ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS, i'm not able to log to my desktop it just get stuck after typing password! Not
getting any error messages nothing at all, it just shows background and nothing more! I,m able to log to quest sessions but there is no administrative privileges i,m not able change nothing! Command sudo su not working
When i,m doing at logging ctrl+alt+F1 at login screenit asks me login and pw after entering my login details:login incorrect!
Tried recovery mode and still nothing, so i,m kind stuck on it!!
Have all my data inside and no backup, please help!!!!
