how can i use OED on ubuntu?

I'm a new user of ubuntu. Till yesterday, i was using windows7 and found ubuntu is more useful than windows.but one problem remains. I am a Japanese linguist and a heavy user of CD-rom version of OED. are there any possibility that i can use OED o\n ubuntu?>
or i gave to boot windows every time i want to use OED?

Thank you michael. This is exactly what I wanted. to get I did't know the very existance of emulator of windows working on linux. In addition to OED, I want CD-Rom version of Jespersen's books. I think Chomsky had learnd much from Jespersen's works. Anyway, michal, your suggestion is very helpful for me. Thanks a million.

You can check the Wine AppDb. Your application may work in that.
