Libreoffice writer no longer saving documents

Asked by Alejandra

After updating libreoffice to:

Version: 4.4.5.2
Build ID: 40m0(Build:2)
Locale: en_US.UTF-8

I can no longer save any Wordoffice 2010 documents (from my windows pc). It worked until recent update. And I now get the following message when trying to save any document:

Error saving the document redaccion_estudio_2:

Then I suggest you contact the libreoffice PPA guys to report the issue. Did you try renaming the libreoffice configuration folder then rerunning the application to see if it helps?
