evolution mail, suspend account

Attempting to work out how to delete 1 of 2 e mail account (That I did get right) BUT in this process of trial and error the following error I did that I am trying to reverse. Mail inbox view (Evolution Mail), top left hand corner is a icon bar says mail and below it is mail accounts folders (In box folder, Sent Folder and any created folders. Right clicked on one of these folders with drop down view saying is I recall correctly "suspend account" which I did and gone was all the account sub level folders (In box, Sent Mails and any other sub folders created to save mails in). Investigating I have determined the account is not deleted and I can still send from the original e mail account but I can not see any received e mails on the account old or new (It shows me no inbox view of the e mail received). Address contacts are still there, just I cannot see any sent, received, saved e mails for the current account. Assistance appreciated, please keep the technical terms simple, I am by no means a computer expert.
