About boot menu

Hello all,

I have installed Ubuntu and when i on my pc I get option of ubuntu or windows, I want to change the order of the boot.........like windows should be by default...... how to do that in vaio??

The other thing is in one of my lab we were writing script on ubuntu files and running them......... What is scrip of any file??? can we change files provided by ubuntu?

For modifying the grub menu to have Windows first, and then Ubuntu and memtest, do the following:

Open a terminal and issue the commands

sudo mv /etc/grub.d/30_os-prober /etc/grub.d/09_os-prober
sudo update-grub
