From your output

1 disks with OS, 1 OS : 0 Linux, 0 MacOS, 1 Windows, 0 unknown type OS.

Boot-repair can only find a Windows installation. How is this question Ubuntu-related?

the operating system cannot be found I thought I could just install Ubuntu instead but it only works with the Ubuntu disk, when I remove the disk I get the same message at startup, so as you maybe see now this IS Ubuntu related

The system is pure Windows. This is nothing to do with Ubuntu.

For repairing a broken Windows installation you should use a Windows repair/installation disk.

If you want to replace the (supposedly broken) Windows installation by Ubuntu, then you should just boot the Ubuntu installation disk and follow the installation procedure. In course of the installation procedure you will get a question about how and where to install Ubuntu, and there you should select 'Erase disk and install Ubuntu' or 'Replace Windows with Ubuntu' see http://i.stack.imgur.com/xaQ3N.png (I am not sure of the exact wording that you will see).

I am fully aware the system is "pure windows" wanted to replace it with Ubuntu, since repairs are not working, I thought I had it installed, but may have used the wrong disk as it does not appear to have completely installed, I will look into it further, thanks for the reply.

If you want to replace it completely then this is an option in the installer. If you select to use the entire disk, the installer will remove all partitions (destroying All data) and setup the partitions appropriately for an Ubuntu installation.

If you have data that you need then be sure to run a last full backup before starting out.

Can you help with this problem?
