Upgrade to 15.04 now the terminal shrinks to a button

Asked by Larry Griffin

After upgrading to 15.04 when opening the Terminal program. The Terminal program opens to about 1/4 screen size then immediately shrinks to to the upper left corner the size of the red close button and the $ sign and blinking cursor. When I drag to the edge to a larger size sometimes it will collapse back. Is there a key combination that would do this or is it a bug. This is on my HP lapto HP2000z-300?

Thanks Larry

Have you checked the settings for the terminal window?
Maybe some of the properties are set to weird values (like screen size = 2 characters * 1 line instead of 80*25 etc.).

I did check the screen size and default was 80 x 25. I created another Terminal profile with 80 x 25, no help. It is weird, which is why I thought maybe stuck keys,,.

If you create a new user and log in as this other user, is it ok or the same?

I found the problem this morn, not exactly sure what. I changed the appearance from high contrast to Radiance and made the Launcher icons smaller from 46 to 42. :^)

Changing users didn't help. Thanks for your time.
