Dual boot in DELL Workstation T7810

i purchase DELL Workstation T7810 in this Windows 8.1 pro pre-loaded,
but when am trying to install ubuntu 12.04 its installing but before starting the os its asking option(1) windows , 2)ubuntu)when iam choose ubyntu option os is not loading (it shows some os files are currpted and missing) this way i tried through UEFI setting in BIOS, and i tried through LAGACY mode , in during the linux installation disk partion window it shows total space of hard disk
and not going to next step..please tell me the solution?

12.04 is terribly old. Have you tried 14.04? It is LTS and supported til April 2019.....
