Help installing Lexmark printer driver s315

Hi, I downloaded 2 forms of printer driver for this model for Ubuntu 32 bit from the Lexmark website and they load into the Ubuntu software centre, I press the install button but it seems to not do anything and i cant see an icon for the driver in my toolbar on the left hand side or on the desktop or anything, and the printers still not working or scanning. I’m a new Ubuntu user. Thanks.

What is the output of:

lsb_release -a; uname -a; lsusb

I have no idea what your referring to... Im running Ubuntu 12.04

Copy the command and press CTRL + ALT +T
Paste the command into the terminal and press ENTER
