Installer crash with fresh 14.04 install

Asked by Dennis

G'Day Gang,
I am trying to install Ubuntu 14.04 from a usb flash drive. the install goes most of the way through then the installer stops with the message below.

"trying to overwrite '/etc/console-setup/compose.ISO-8859-13.inc', which is also in package console-setup 1.88"

When OK is clicked a dialogue pops up that says a bug report will be sent when the dialogue box is closed. The problem is no matter how long I wait after the "close" button is clicked. the dialogue will not close.
Any thoughts?

Cheers
Dennis

Did you MD5 test the ISO you downloaded?
How did you put the data onto the USB stick?

Thanks
