How, where and why do you "copy my Home Folder"?

I need setting for my Firefox and virtual box. I delete the old one and copied only. .Firefox and .virtual box and .virtual box.old

Copying the firefox and virtualbox settings from another installation to this system cannot have an influence on the function of the wifi adapter.

What I can imagine is that the firefox settings of the old system do not fit to your new system and prevent firefox from correctly running.

What is the output of
sudo lshw -C network; rfkill list; sudo iwlist scan | grep -Ei 'chan|ssid'

Can you please elaborate on "it connects but wont browse"?

Your last output shows that you are connected over the wlan device with an ip address of192.168.8.101, and at he same time with the wired connection and an ip address of 41.86.145.238

If you disconnect the Ethernet cable, can you then ping your WLAN router? Can you then ping 8.8.8.8?

Can you please elaborate on "it connects but wont browse"?

The ping command confirms that you are connected to the internet.

Do you have the problem that firefox does not work? What happens if you try?
Have you tried other web browsers (like chromium)?

Yes Firefox and chromium doe not work. so i download firmware installer for b43legacy driver before that ping 8.8.8.8 work. it did not ping without the b43legacy software. i can connect to the wifi, but when i want to browse, it wont browse at all. i only browse with my wired connection vpn.

Thanks Manfred for all the support

You still haven't told what there is happening when you are connected with the WLAN device only, and try opening a web page with firefox (or chromium). Do you get error messages? If yes, please provide the full text.

If you are connected via WLAN and the wired LAN disconnected, the command
ping 8.8.8.8
seems to work, what about
ping google.com
?

What is the output of
wget http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/vivid/Release.gpg
rm ./Release.gpg
when tried with the WLAN connection?

But when i ping 8.8.8.8 it worked

Ok, it seems that name resolution does not correctly work for your WLAN connection.

What is the output of the command

grep nameserver /etc/resolvconf/resolv.conf /etc/resolvconf/resolv.conf.d/*

the command did not give any output.
I manage to add the namesaver with

1. ifconfig

2. sudo nano /etc/resolv.conf

3. sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart.

It browse now but its slow. would try browsing later in the night to see the speed

Thanks
