Problems since upgrading to Ubuntu 15.04.

I am having problems since upgrading to Ubuntu 15.04.

My pc does not shut down properly. I click on the Tool icon in the top, right hand corner and click on Shut down. The screen closes and an energy saving message appears. The cpu does not shut down. I need to press the power button on the box for a while until it shuts down.

I booted up, one day. The background image on my desktop was missing.

I only use my pc for e-mails and Facebook. The Edit, Paste function does not work when I am in Facebook.

I use the Chromium browser.

I upgraded from Ubuntu 14.04 I cannot remember if there was an LTS.

I do not remember what steps I took to upgrade. I started in the evening. it took the whole night to upgrade. I know because I checked every hour. I do not know what package I am using.
