wlan doesn't work on ubuntu-studio

Asked by Dines683

I am running ubuntu-studio 7.10 my problem is that my wireless network doesn't work.

I have a Intel PRO/Wireless 4965 AG(N) and this model should be supported on ubuntu but i can't make it work.

this is a print out

xxxxx@ubuntu:~$ iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.

eth0 no wireless extensions.

wmaster0 no wireless extensions.

wlan0 IEEE 802.11g ESSID:""

          Link Quality:0 Signal level:0 Noise level:0
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
          Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0

Does anyone have an idea of how to solve this?
