mouse cursor

Hello,

I have Ubuntu 15.04. I have an issue with the mouse cursor. It seems that when I am typing something, the cursor seems to jump around. If I am typing on a line, sometimes the cursor will jump to an earlier place on the line. Other times it my jump to somewhere else on the page.

Is there a way to fix this?

Does the system have a make and model?
Is the system fully updated?
Do you have the latest BIOS?
