When you unplug the phone on USB, do you use the safe remove feature in the OS before physically unplugging the device?

Yes. Note: it works OK on Win7.

Are there any messages in the system logs for that device?

Plug in the smartphone, wait 30 seconds and then issue the command in a terminal

Used to connect my now-bricked droid maxx via USB and get 2 fs, 1 for internal 1 for SD. With maxx HD can't see it at all. What's problem & how fixed? Win 10 sees it as one drive with 2 root directories. - sent from the maxx HD.

Since I have received a reply in 279679, this 267407 can be deleted, removed, expired, or whatever gets rid of it.
