No Sound on docking station thinkpad t540p

I have a Thinkpad T540p. The sound works normally unless it is plugged in to the docking station (a ThinkPad Ultra Dock). If speakers are plugged in to the dock, the internal speakers get disabled correctly, but the output of the docking station does not work. Speakers which are plugged in directly on the Laptop still work.

I'm running UBUNTU 15.04. The problem was already solved with 3.16.0.34. This is why I use it in the moment.

No, with the actual kernel 3.19.0.18 it is not working with rebooting in dock.

No now with kernel 3.19.0-20 it is still not working!

Will there once be a solution of that problem. Or will I have to change OS?

But the problem is still aware. Now with Kernel now with kernel 3.19.0-21.

I've found a workaround. As pekremer stated the problem was not solved in a kernel update the other day.

Installing PulseAudio, going to the "Output Devices" tab and scrolling down to the "Port" dropdown. There are two options. One is "Headphones (plugged in)" and "Speakers (unavailable)". Now, my headphones are plugged in the audio port on the dock, however, I only get sound when I change the Port value to Speakers.

Having to do this everytime I put the computer in the dock is getting tiring though...
