I cant work with Ubuntu (problem with nVidia nForce 4 chipset)

Asked by Andrii

Hello, I can not use your operating system. I have integrated graphics chipset nVidia nForce 4. In the end, when the system starts for a minute the system hangs, sometimes display artifacts. I became acquainted with Ubuntu already for a long time, used it with Intel's integrated graphics (Core i3), AMD (APU series), why doesn't the original nVidia chipsets support legacy 2004-2006 years. Now I use Windows 8. I bet: Linux Mint 32/64 bit 17.1, Ubuntu 15.04 32 bit. I can not do anything, nor update the system, no drivers install from USB drive, all hangs. Please add a driver for nVidia motherboard chipsets.

Nforce4 isn't special. What video chip do you have?
