Videos (Totem 3.14.2-0ubuntu1) in Ubuntu 15.04 playes videos in a loop

Asked by Peter Majer

Hello,

I've upgraded my system from Ubuntu 14.10 to Ubuntu 15.04. Now Videos (Totem 3.14.2-0ubuntu1) plays videos in a loop irrespective of "Repeat" setting. I start video playback by double-clicking on the video file in Files.

Can someone confirm if this problem is generally reproducible in Ubuntu 15.04?

Thanks,
Peter

Do other players show the same behaviour?

Beside Videos I have only Kodi installed on my system. Kodi plays video files correctly. Let me know if you want me to install & test e.g. in VLC.

VLC player (version 2.2.0) does not have this problem.
Has anybody tried to reproduce this issue in Ubuntu 15.04?

If you make a new Ubuntu user and login as it, is the player OK?

The same thing is observed also for Guest Session.

Thanks James. This is what I wanted someone to check. I'll raise a bug. Did you install Ubuntu 15.04 from the scratch or as an upragde from previous version like I did?
