Not enough random bytes available. Please do some other work to give the OS a chance to collect more entropy! (Need 280 more bytes)

HI Team,
Hope You doing good.
I'm facing a problem when generating the keys, I have launched ubuntu 12.04 LTS version and trying to install a repository,while creating the repository we are trying to generate the GPG key , following the process we are facing the problem "Not enough random bytes available. Please do some other work to give
the OS a chance to collect more entropy! (Need 280 more bytes)" .

How to increase the number of bytes . I have also checked with this command watch cat /proc/sys/kernel/random/entropy_avail
Please help me out from this as soon as possible.
