Unable to instal ubuntu 14.4.2 within wndows.

I had ubuntu 14.4 installed within windows but it crashed and I lost my GRUB so that I could not start windows untill I run DISK-REPAIR, now I am working from a pen-drive with an ubuntu 14.4.2 and when I try to install it, it offers me to delete windows and install it on top of it, wich I do not want; in the 'something-else' option it offers me to format some drives.wich I do not understand .Sometimes when I try to install it,it offers me to install within windows but when it comes to doing it, it restarts the computer. I hope you can help me. Thanks

The above is your statement. WITHIN, do you mean with Wubi, or a dual boot? What Windows are you using?

I am using windows 7 home premium; with Wubi or maybe it was a dual boot because I installed ubuntu from a 'pen drive' USB

The above sites have much information about dual boot. Note that Wubi is not recommended.
