no sound

i have been installed the aMsn in my system but the sound doesnt work .it requested to install the new version 0,97 one and i didi it .even that the sound doesnt work.i have been tried to configure the sound devices on aMsn without any respound.i just get eror message :Checking it audio extension(snack)is loaded you wont be able to record yourselv or speak to your friends. can anybody help me what should i do?

Hello Avni,

You should install the libsnack2 package, to get rid with this problem. (see https://help.ubuntu.com/7.10/add-applications/C/advanced.html to do this if you don't know how to use Synaptic Package Manager)
