Since upgrading to 15.04 Nautilus needs to be restarted but does not

Since upgrading to 15.04 Nautilus needs to be restarted but when I press the button nothing happens.
It is a slow boot and starting programs from Dash is hit or miss.
Any suggestions?

Yes I rebooted and that seems to have got rid of the notice to restart Nautilus.
Takes about 30 secs from when I enter my password to seeing the desktop which I expect is about average
