Ubuntu Touch and HP Slatebook 10 x2 PC?

Asked by LinuxRocks

Good evening everybody :-)
As You might know, yes, i am a newbie in installations. :-)
Secondly, i do not speak very good english, sorry about that.
Here, it is about Ubuntu Touch with HP Slateboox 10 x2 pc hybrid tablet.

I don't really like this Android thing.

So, I'd prefer to install Ubuntu on my HP tablet ;-)

After reading all the wiki Ubuntu com Install, it seems the only HP is a Touchpad. (work in progress).

The Hp slatebook 10 x2 PC works with Nvidia Tegra 4 (ARM Cortex-A15/Armv7-A).

USB debugging, adb, fastboot work but Phablet and Ubuntu-device-flash don't work with it.

What should I install? ARM v7 EABI Hard Float ABI ARMHF +flo?

It is considered as "tablet" or "pc" (this is an Hybrid").

Do I install Ubuntu for ARM or Ubuntu Touch?

I am completely lost.

Btw, the HP is a proprietary thing: you need to buy a special cable (tablet to USB) and for example:
"fastboot devices" will not work, but "fastboot -i 0x03F0 devices" works; (VendoriD).

As I told You earlier, i dot not speak very good english (huhum), so, here is the all story to understand what I tried to explain earlier: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2402681&page=59

So, the main question is: is it possible to install Ubuntu Touch with HP slatebook 10 x2 PC tablet?

Thank You very much ;-)

Actually I'm tired about Android an this f*****g tablet.
So I was wondering if we can install a native Ubuntu cuz with Linuxdeploy it's working great.
But it worth a try with Ubuntu touch.
My question is. If I make a rom with Ubuntu touch (it's been a while I haven't followed this project.) is there a way to swap for a classic Ubuntu or should a make 2 roms?
Thanks

It is great to see a reply some 18 months later ;-)

It could be great if ubuntu touch could run on this tablet, but when I see the available devices actually, I wonder if it will be done.
The available devices are here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Touch/Devices

How can you make a rom? Your replies are very interresting utopykzebulon :-)

I've already pour Ubuntu touch on few devices.
On HTC vision, endeavouru and some I haven't published just for try. Just have a look on the developers for those devices. Anyway, I'll give a try...
