Resize your NTFS partitions in Windows to make free space for the Ubuntu install. You can then install to the freed space. You can then use the Ubuntu installer which should make you an extended partition which it will then make logical partitions within (Ubuntu uses 2 partitions by default)

Can you help with this problem?
