Raring is EOL and not supported in any way. It's like installing Windows 98 and looking for updates.

I suggest you wipe Raring off the system and do a clean install of Trusty. Trusty is LTS and supported til April 2019

Why do you not have backups? What if the drive motor or IDE failed... Where is your data then?

You might create a rescue CD that contains testdisk, see http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk_Livecd for a list of possibilities.

If you want to recover your Windows files, you must try not to write anything on your hard disk that might overwrite those files.

If you have already selected "Install Ubuntu and Replace Windows 7", you overwrote everything that was there from Windows, and the chances that you still can recover something is near to zero.

For checking your current disk partitioning, can you please provide the output of the terminal commands

uname -a
lsb_release -crid
sudo fdisk -l

Please be careful with space characters in terminal commands, you missed some of them.

Can you help with this problem?
