bq Aquaris 4.5e bluetooth connection problem

Asked by Natee

I tried connecting by bluetooth to my old Blackberry to transfer contacts - unsuccessfully, initially the connection is made but then it is immediately dropped. The same problem is with connection to an iMac. I went through all the stages, obtained the code, input the code and it showed for few seconds that the devices were connected but the connection was dropped after few seconds and it was not possible to restore it. I deleted the device and tried the process again and the same problem occurred. I could not find any advice on how to fix this to make a successful connection via bluetooth.

I suggest you report a bug. The Ubuntu Phone is not a fully functioning device and you will get issues like this with it

The `phone was initially very reluctant to identify the car passkey only showing the headset icon. Eventually it came up with the correct ID. When "Connect" selected I was able to enter the key on the car keyboard. The request for the key appeared on the `phone screen but when entered and the pairing option was selected it immediately lost the car ID and no connection was established.

Can you help with this problem?
