Laptop keyboard malfunctioning.

Asked by Sam Jackson

I'm using an Asus 1015E laptop and running Ubuntu 14.04. For some reason, the laptop keyboard has stopped functioning right. The delete key does not work at all, and other keys were sticking until I turned the feature off that controls that in the system settings. However, I still cannot log on, because when I press the "H" key, the "N" also is entered. When I plug in a keyboard to the USB, it works without problems. I thought this was a case of the Num Lock being on, but that is not turning off either. My concern is that it is a hardware issue.
