How to install ubuntu on a server with a Intel C600 storage controller

I am trying to install ubuntu system on a workstation (lenovo thinkstation D30). During installation process, it can't find the hard disk. I check the devices list. There is a Intel C600 storage controller, a SAS disk of seagate. Is that possible to install the ubuntu on this workstation?

Did you create the file system within the RAID controller itself? This will then present to the installer.....
