14.04 LTS suspend doesn't work

Asked by gabox01

Hi,

I have a Thinkpad Twist, running a fresh install of 14.04 LTS.
I have set in the preferences, that whenever I close the lid, the maschine shall go to suspend.

It doesn't work. When I close the lid, it goes to suspend for a few seconds, but it wakes up immediately afterwards.
I remember I had the same issue with 12.xx, and I could not solve this problem so I gave up on Ubuntu. I'm really sad that not much has changed since then, but I hope somebody can give me a hint to at least diagnose what is causing the issue.

Thanks guys.
