ubuntu 13.10 unable to install my weather indicator

I did type the following line in the terminal but nothing happens

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:atareao/atareao
sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install my-weather-indicator

Any suggestions

Ubuntu 13.10 is end-of-life. There are no more updates or support for it.

I suggest installing Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS which is supported until April 2019.

I'd go for a clean install too. You can then restore the user data from your backups

Mark & Andrew ....it's on a Acer One 36bit machine ... would it run 14.04 lts and I don't have the ISO anymore

@Budi: how much RAM does your Acer One have? 512 MB? 1 GB? 2 GB? 4 GB??

Lubuntu 14.10 is end-of-life in 4 months from now. So no more package updates when July arrives...

That is why I recommended installing Lubuntu 14.04 LTS which has 3 years of support, according to the following link:
