libpgtcl depends on =tcl8.5, should be >=tcl.85, is this a bug?

Asked by Holger

libpgtcl depends on tcl8.5, so when only the current version tcl8.6 is installed, it refuses to install.

Technically, there is a dependency on libtcl8.5.so.0, which can alternatively be libtcl8.6.so.0

If this isn't possible, there have to be two packages, one libpgtcl8.5 and libpgtcl8.6.

I am not sure whether this should be reported as a bug. I regard it as such.

About which version of libpgtcl are you talking?

What is the output of the terminal commands
uname -a
lsb_release -crid
dpkg -l | grep pgtcl

As far as I can see the 1:1.9+git20120911-2 version for utopic already has a dependency tcl (>= 8.5.0-1) (see https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/utopic/i386/libpgtcl/1:1.9+git20120911-2 )
and the 1:1.9+git20120911-3 version for vivid depends on tcl (>= 8.6.0-2)

Can you help with this problem?
