Repositories on cd or dvd?

Asked by guidemeintheeyesofblindness@yahoo.com

I successfully installed ubuntu 7.10 on my pc without internet access. I am trying to get the linux stop motion program on it.

Without internet access it has been difficult. I download the stop motion program and burned it on cd and tried to install it with gedbi but it seems there are programs missing from my repository. It starts to open and then ERROR: Dependency is not satisfiable: libqt4-core. The stop motion program program won't install. Internet access seems like my only option. I'm not ready to tackle internet yet.

Any ideas how to get stop motion on my pc?

Or can I get the ubuntu gutsy repositories on cd or dvd?

It looks like the only packages you need to install stopmotion are libqt4-core and libqt4-gui. Download them and burn them to a CD (or transfer on USB flash drive or something), and you should be able to install stopmotion.

Where do I find libqt4-gui? Every download I try gets rejected.

To bring this up-to-date for 9.04 please see these links

Set of 5 dual layer (normal commercial, like movie dvd's you'd get in a shop) for about $40 USA, the price is a little less as i type but by the time you read it may be a little more.
