Can I change the IP that I log in to on my ISP

Is it possible for me to select the IP address at MY ISP as BT are using dynamic address so I am given a different IP address very few days.

The only way I can change this is by RE-SETTING the router/hub BT Home hub4 but I get a random IP address.

As some IP addresses are slower than others it does effect streaming a little from 2mbps to 3mbps.

The address is given by your ISP, so you will need to use the IP they give you or the connection won't work.

I suggest you take this up with your provider.
