Connection to BT broadband

I use BT Broadband with BT hub to connect to internet. The BT connection CD would not run on Ubuntu. Could you please help me to connect to Internet through BT broadband using BT hub?

Just connect your network cable. Fire up firefox and goto
http://192.168.1.254

and configure your router using the setup wizard

Thanks. I installed Ubuntu with the network cable connected. Network cable was connected to preinsatlled BT hub on the computer. Ubuntu got automatically connected during installation.
