how do I get rud of the /r/reddit games

I seem to have picked up a virus of some kind. They apparently come via reddit. Please tell me how to purge them, and tell me ubuntu won't be ruined by these morons. They ar e something to do with games, thats all I know, I don't use my computer for games. I am the sole user of this desktop. I use ubuntu 14.10. So please if you could help.

Can you give a screen shot of the issue. You will need to use a service like imageshack or make a Dropbox UK of an image etc, so that we get a USB of the image.

Sorry, I can't give you a screen shot. The problem got so bad I had to re-install 14,10. Suffice to say, firefox was not usable. Whatever it was just kept starting firefox at this reddit games page. Thanks for your reply. Ian
