create a bootable W7 pendrive with Ubuntu 14.04

Asked by D Tree

Is it possible to create a bootable W7 pendrive with Ubuntu 14.04. I do not have a Windows box. I do have the original W7 Home version that came with my Dell laptop. Installed Ubuntu the day I purchased the Dell. Occasionally need to acess W7. Do not want to dual boot due to HD limitations.
Thanks,
dlw

I believe unetbootin can do it. You will need to format the USB to NTFS first (using Windows).

I want to install W7 on a pendrive, not Ubuntu.
Can unetbootin do that?

Unethical may be able to transfer the install ISO to USB. I believe there are guides on YouTube how to use Virtual box to install Windows to a USB device
