Stop-motion programs

Asked by guidemeintheeyesofblindness@yahoo.com

I just installed ubuntu successfully and it's up and running great.

I got an interesting question for you all. I plan on using my old pc {with ubuntu just installed on it} for my stop motion station.

My question is how do I get these two linux stop motion programs on my pc? -

http://www.polycrystal.org/software/frameworks/

and

http://developer.skolelinux.no/info/studentgrupper/2005-hig-stopmotion/index.php

Oh yea, I do not have internet connection.

Stopmotion: This aviable in ubuntu's software repositories, but probably not on the installation cd (or do you have a dvd?). Try to open synaptic and search for "stopmotion". If it does not find something, use a pc with internet access to download "http://developer.skolelinux.no/info/studentgrupper/2005-hig-stopmotion/project_management/webpage/releases/stopmotion_0.6.0-1_i386.deb", copy it on usb-stick/cd, open it on the ubuntu-pc with gdebi and click Install.

Frameworks seems to be more complex, as there are no ubuntu installation files (*.deb) around.. or I didn't found them.

Can you help with this problem?
