Video card compatibility ATI R9270X-DC2-2GD5

Hello,

I need to know if ASUS ATI R9270X-DC2-2GD5, R9 270X, PCI-E, 2048MB GDDR5, 256 bit, 2*DVI, HDMI, DP, OC, DirectCU II is fully compatible with UBUNTU.

If you already own the kit, just boot the liveCD and try it

Just download an Ubuntu installation kit from http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop/ burn a DVD or create a bootable USB stick with it, and try whether it works on your system.

As far as I know you graphics card can be used with the open source radeon driver and the proprietary AMD Catalyst driver. Both should work.

Thank you all for the answers. The idea is that i want to buy this video card and use it on UBUNTU. I don't have the card so i can't test it. That is why i asked here if anyone had one or have knowledge about this.
