You will need to use the Ubuntu liveCD (or similar) to resize the Ext4 partition to make space for the Windows installer to use. The Windows installer is incredibly primitive and cannot resize partitions like Linux based distributions can.

Once you have freed space, you can boot to your Windows install media (use a Windows forum for help here) and install the OS to the freed space. The Windows installer will blindly overwrite Grub with it's own junk bootloader so you will need to boot back to the Ubuntu install media to reinstate Grub as the bootloader. There is a guide on Omg!Ubuntu! called "Sticking it to Grub" which will help you do this.

I've had issues with UNetbootin before, and had folks suggest that I try using WinUSB Maker instead, so that's something you might try.

Also, someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think for those of us who are noobies, folks suggest that Windows be loaded onto the system first, and then use the utilities inclued with the Ubunut installation to shrink down the Windows partition and then load Ubuntu. This handles the Grub issue, but of course would mean that you have to reinstall Ubuntu.

Did you MD5 test the ISO you downloaded?

Not thought to maybe...search the web......

Without MD5 testing the ISO you cannot know for sure if the file you have is complete and consistent
