1. Go to File -> Print... then choose "Print to file", choose a file name and click print.
2. Open a Terminal and type "ps2pdf <path to your *.ps file>"

Have you already tried to use the cupspdf printer to print as pdf...

Please open a Terminal from the menu Applications->Accessories->Terminal and type:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install cups-pdf

give your user password when requested, you don't see nothing when you type it, then press enter.

be sure cupsys is running, type:

sudo /etc/init.d/cupsys start

Then go to System->Administration->Printing and from Local Printers you must already have a PDF printer use it to print...

The pdf are saved into your homedir under PDF dir...

Hope this helps
