How do I test the integrated cammera with Ubuntu?

Asked by Chakib

Can someone please tell me how to test if the integrated camera in my computer installed correctly? The Notebook is a BenQ Joybook S41.
All the camera says is "Qeye 1.3 Megapixels".

Is there a bash command for this?

Thanks,

Chakib

Hi Chakib,

I researched on the Internet by a driver for your device, but could find nothing. Even in PCIdatabase.com web site, which lists the IDs of the devices recognized by the kernel, I wasn't able to find a reference to the ID of your webcam (064e: a111). Therefore, I believe that your webcam isn't supported yet.
